Wine Advocate-Parker :
The 2011 Saint Veran comes from two parcels near Davaye, ôLes Carettesö and ôLes Combes,ö aged in concrete tank over 6 months. It has an intriguing nuanced bouquet with delicate touches of white truffle and smoke joining the citrus fruit. It is very focused and well-defined. The palate is crisp and vibrant with subtle notes of apricot and dragon fruit. The finish feels a little compact, although underneath there is clearly fine mineralite that might need another 12 months in bottle to flourish.
