Wine Advocate-Parker :
Between myself and a couple of Trimbachs, the consensus is that their 2011 Pinot Gris Reserve Personnelle marries characteristics of its 2000 and 2008 counterparts, and that is a an impressive credential. (I can't wait to get my hands on the about-to-be-released 2008.) Truffled foie gras in the glass mingles with intimations of peach and citrus in anticipation of precisely the mingling of decadent richness and lusciously bright fruit that follows on a firm but polished palate. Juicy pear and subtly smoky, bitter-sweet nut oils add allure to a long, interactively complex finish. Look for this beauty û when we can finally purchase it in another three years û to perform superbly through at least 2025.
