Wine Advocate-Parker : A blend of 35% Carignan, 30% Syrah, 25% Grenache, and 10% Mourvèdre, aged in older barriques, Gauby's 2014 IGP Cotes Catalanes Vieilles Vignes includes hints of iodine and adhesive bandage on the nose. They blend easily with hints of red berries and garrigue in this silky, medium-bodied wine, which is drinking really well at the present time. Don't bother cellaring it, just enjoy it over the next few years.
