Wine Advocate-Parker :
The maiden 2015 La Petite Marquise comes from three- to 15-year-old vines within the Clos du Marquis vineyard, because the team did not want to include them in the Grand Vin and also to reinforce the idea that this is a separate cru from Léoville Las-Cases. A blend of 52% Cabernet Sauvignon and 48% Merlot, it has a fragrant bouquet with blackberry, briary and slightly clayey scents. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannin. It is well balanced, tapers slightly to the finish, but there is plenty of freshness and it should drink nicely over the next 4-6 years.
