Wine Advocate-Parker :
From the east of the Grand Cru Altenberg and a windy, east-facing slope on rather soft calcareous soil, the 2013 Schoffweg opens clear, fresh and fine on the nose, with vanilla and yeasty flavors. Very clear and delicate, with nice concentration and purity, this is an elegant, salty, fresh and pure Schoffeweg with piquant acidity and stunning purity. The wine has a lot of freshness, mineral grip and tension, and, due to the wind, not a hint of botrytis. The finish is pure, fresh and salty.
