Wine Advocate-Parker :
It is quite remarkable that Denis Dubourdieu managed to eke out his L'Extravagant in a growing season that was anything but! One bottle was out of sorts, but the second offered perfumed scents of honey, dandelion and Gewurztraminer-like peach that is light compared to previous vintages, but still attractive. The palate is viscous on the entry with plenty of ripe botrytized honeyed fruit, although, to be honest, it does cut away quickly on the finish. I actually found more potential within Denis Dubourdieu's regular Doisy-Daene.
