Wine Advocate-Parker : Tasted single blind against its peers. The Clos Haut Peyraguey has a very floral bouquet with attractive aromas of wild honey, white peach and beeswax that blossoms in the glass, the oak now more subsumed compared to last year. The palate is well-balanced with much more botrytis and weight in comparison with its peers. The finish is mellifluous and clean with attractive spice and orange notes on the extravagant finish that bears more semblance to a 2007 than 2008. Tasted January 2012.
