Clos Solène : Fleur de Solène 2017

The 2017 Fleur de Solène is made up of 40% Syrah, 34% Cabernet and 26% Grenache. Medium to deep ruby-purple in color, the nose opens broody at first--with smoked cranberries, dried red cherries, wild blackberries and a hint of blue fruit--before opening to notions of crushed rock, potpourri and dried flowers with earthy touches. Medium to full-bodied, it's silky with well-managed fruitiness, a plush frame and great freshness on the long, elegant finish.
