"Château des Rontets : Pouilly-Fuissé Village ""Pierrefolle"" 2012"
Wine Advocate-Parker :
The 2012 Pouilly Fuisse Pierrefolle, which comes from 50-year-old vines and spends 18 months in oak, has a rather conservative and austere bouquet that is missing some fruit concentration. The palate is crisp on the entry with fine acidity, but the finish needs more substance and something to say. Not bad...but it is clearly outshone by the Les Birbettes.
