Wine Advocate-Parker : The 2013 Chambolle-Musigny les Charmes 1er Cru has a lively, vivacious bouquet with red currant jam, fresh strawberries and black plum aromas, perhaps even with a hint of black truffle (unusual at this early stage.) The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins and well-judged acidity. This feels sappy in the mouth and very cohesive toward the sensual finish. Very fine. There is impressive substance here.
