Wine Advocate-Parker :
The 2016 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru, under Albert Bichot's Domaine du Pavillon label, was picked on 21 September and matured in 35% new oak for 15 months. This has a gentle and caressing bouquet that slowly unfurls, fresh citrus lemon and linden, just a hint of slate although I would have preferred to see more energy. The palate is well balanced with fresh acidity, rounded in texture, almost waxy with a light tang of spice on the finish that pulls up just a tad shorter than its peers.
