Wine Advocate-Parker : From a plot with deep but well-drained soils, the 2017 Mercurey Clos de la Maladière wafts from the glass with a rich bouquet of smoky berry fruit, espresso roast and grilled meats. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, with a fleshier, suppler profile than the regular Mercurey bottling and a more enveloping core of fruit.
