Wine Advocate-Parker : The 2014 Hautes Côte de Nuits le Clos de Prieuré comes from vines on marn soil upon a particularly steep slope. It is 100% destemmed. It has a tightly-wound bouquet with blackberry and wet limestone soils, reflective of terroirs. The palate is more red than black fruit with fine tannin and there is moderate weight in the mouth with a linear but fresh finish. Give it a year in bottle.
