Wine Advocate-Parker : The 2018 Chablis 1er Cru Montée de Tonnerre opens in the glass with notes of white flowers, crisp orchard fruit, orange rind, oyster shell and beeswax. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, satiny and layered, with good cut and tension and a pure, nicely delineated finish. It marks a return to form for this premier cru, which had been hit by hail and frost for the last handful of successive vintages but was finally spared in 2018.
