Wine Advocate-Parker : Still in wood, the 2017 Vacqueyras Vieilles Vignes is a blend of 70% Grenache, 20% Mourvèdre and 10% Syrah. It was in barrels for a year, then moved into foudres, where it will stay for about eight months. Hints of cinnamon and clove mark the nose, but the dominant impression is of vivid raspberry and cherry fruit. It's medium to full-bodied, with a long, silky finish.
