Wine Advocate-Parker :
Like the generic white, the Saint Aubin 1er Cru Pitangerets is also fermented in 22-hectoliter foudres. It has a clean, conservative bouquet with touches of grapefruit and citrus lemon, though I feel that it needs more energy. The palate is better with good weight on the entry, harmonious orange peel and apricot notes leading to a biscuit finish that feels long. Once the aromatics sort themselves out, this will be fine.
